Sligo Job Club will develop and market the strengths of Job Seekers with a view to supporting them into employment.
This is a joint initiative between Dept of Social Protection, Intreo and Sligo LEADER Partnership Company.
Job Club also provides an outreach programme to various locations throughout Sligo town and County.

The Job Club is a 3week programme for 3hours per day (10-1pm)
Whilst attending participants work at developing practical techniques required to get a job, and also look at what skills they have and how these can be used and developed.


Training areas include:
CV Preparation, Cover letters, support in completing Application Forms
Career Planning – Targeting and Sourcing employment/training and further education options
1-2-1 support
Have an opportunity to meet guest speakers from other support/training agencies
Interview Preparation and Techniques – Practice Interview


Afternoon appointments offering a one to one support service, covering all aspects of Job Search can be booked on 071-9138831


Participants may also be eligible for a weekly attendance allowance.

Sligo Job Club Services are free of charge.
