Fiona Healy O'Connor
Having graduated from the University College of Dublin with an Honors degree in 2005, Fiona began her clinical experience in the Cork University Hospital. By 2007 Fiona had developed a specialist interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and in 2009 Fiona became a Senior Physiotherapist in Women’s Health at Cork University Maternity Hospital.
Fiona has undergone extensive training in the specific treatment of pelvic, pelvic floor, abdominal and hip conditions and has completed a Post-Graduate Certificate: Continence for Physiotherapists at the University of Bradford, England. She has completed a Masters in Women’s Health and her research results were published in the Journal of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health. Fiona is a fully certified pilates instructor and has completed specialist training in ante-natal and post-natal pilates.
Fiona is a member of the clinical interest group of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health and Continence and has lectured in The DCU Nursing masters module in continence and on seminars for GPs and Physiotherapists on the pelvic floor.

Fiona works in Kerry Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre as the Clinical Specialist in Women’s’ Health. Fiona works with all of our Ante-Natal, Post-Natal and women’s health clients. Fiona specialises in treating Ante-natal and Post-natal pelvic girdle pain, diastasis of the rectus abdominus muscle, Chronic pelvic pain, continence and prolapse problems.
