More about Ballymun Regional Youth Resource

Ballymun Regional Youth Resource Ltd (BRYR) is a not for profit organisation (Company No: 375435) and registered charity (CHY 15461). . Our custom built facility, The Reco is Ballymun's Central Youth Facility and was opened in 2006. It is a safe, convivial space and is now used by approx 700 young people each week. To date BRYR has expanded to become one of the largest community-based, voluntary-led youth services in the city of Dublin.

Our success is mainly due to the level of strong local governance, the development of good youth-centred policy and practice, the presence and direction of a voluntary Board of Directors with a specific knowledge and appreciation of local needs, a professionally trained team, and, an ability to direct its resources to the target group - both in a responsive and strategic manner - where and when required. Several years on and BRYR's work remains true to the wishes of the local community by maintaining a clear focus on the target group, and in particular a focus on those young people who need our support most.
