Writers, Researchers, Practitioners, Philosophers, Artists.
The research of the Branch Collective occupies the space between academia and art in practice. As PhD students of philosophy, as well as artists and writers, the formation of Branch has grown from a desire to create a discursive bridge between traditional philosophical aesthetics and the ever-changing sphere of cultural experience. We aim to create an open-dialogue between a range of contrasting and complimentary strands of research in aesthetics to create texts and works which, whilst publicly accessible, break new academic ground.
