Gel Nails are artificial nail enhancements done in place of natural nails. Gel Nails tend to provide a more glossy and natural look.

Just some tips to ensure your nails last and stay healthy

Always use gloves when washing up, cleaning or gardening, as household chemicals will strip natural nails and skin of natural oils, thus, affecting it's look and condition.

Moisturize your hands every time after washing hands. This will allow the skin to stay smooth and youthful.

Never use your nail extensions as tools, treat them the way you would your natural nails.

Always use a base coat under nail polish to avoid yellowing of nail enhancements or natural nails.

Use non-acetone nail polish remover.

Take care around extreme heat or naked flames as nail extensions may melt.

Do not pick off the extensions as this will remove the upper layer of your natural nails, thus causing damage.

Have them removed professionally in an appropriate Remover (acrylic or soak-off gel) or special filing technique (file-off gel) followed by a manicure to keep natural nails in good shape.

If lifting can be seen please contact us as water and dirt can get under it and cause an infection.

If any adverse reaction occurs: rash, redness, inflammation of any kind around the nails please contact your GP immediately.

Tinted lotions, suntan creams and hair products can discolour your nail extensions so wash your hands thoroughly after use or wear gloves to protect them.

It is advised to carry out Re-fills every 2 to 3 weeks, otherwise the product will become weaker (due to wear and tear and incorrect structure) and chances to break the nails are higher.

Do not try to do home repairs or remove extensions yourself - this could cause a lot more damage than you realise and cause bacterial infection.

I studied at The Beauty Institute, Athlone and an an ITEC Accredited Nail Technician.
